Caravan 12V electrical and lithium upgrades in Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge Caravan Centre designs, installs and repairs caravan 12V electrical systems. Lithium battery upgrades, DC-DC chargers, inverters, solar, battery monitors and full rewires, as well as fault finding when something has stopped working and nobody can tell you why.

Off-grid power is where most caravan frustration lives. The usual causes are undersized cable, chargers on the wrong profile, tired batteries and solar that was never wired correctly. We test rather than guess, fix what’s wrong, and set the system up so it can be monitored from your phone.

If you’re free camping along the river or heading somewhere powered sites are scarce, a proper 12V check before you leave is worth more than any other accessory.

Can I just swap my AGM for a lithium battery?

Usually not without changing the charging. Lithium needs a charger, DC-DC and solar regulator with a lithium profile. Dropping one into an AGM system shortens its life and can void the battery warranty.

How much lithium do I need?

Depends on the fridge, how many nights off power and your solar. A couple with a compressor fridge is typically 200Ah; a family with a second fridge and an inverter for coffee is 300–400Ah. We size it from your actual usage.

Do you do 240V work?

Our 12V team handles low-voltage systems. 240V work is done by a licensed electrician we work alongside.
