Light truck and all-terrain tyres fitted and balanced.

Murray Bridge Caravan Centre supplies and fits caravan and camper trailer tyres, including light truck and all-terrain tyres suited to river tracks, gravel and long bitumen runs. We fit, balance and torque in our own workshop and set pressures for your actual loaded weight.
Caravan tyres fail more often from age and under-inflation than from wear. If yours are past five years, show sidewall cracking or wear unevenly, book in before the trip rather than at the side of the Flinders Highway. A wheel alignment at the same visit stops the new set wearing the way the old ones did.

Caravan tyres age out before they wear out. Sitting in the sun and only being used a few weeks a year hardens the rubber. Most manufacturers say five to six years maximum.
Light truck (LT) tyres have stiffer sidewalls and higher load ratings, which suits most caravans. We match the load rating to your van’s ATM.
It depends on the tyre and the load on it, which is why we like to weigh the van. As a rule, less on gravel and sand, back up for bitumen.
