Signs you need this

Book in if any of these sound familiar

  • It’s been more than 12 months or 10,000 km
  • Brakes feel weak, grab, or the controller needs winding right up
  • A wheel hub is hot to touch after a run
  • Grinding or humming from the wheels
  • The van has sat in storage over winter
  • You’re about to head interstate or up the river for a few weeks
When to book. Many manufacturers recommend a service every 12 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first. Check your van’s handbook, and book in before a long trip or after a long stretch in storage.

Caravan servicing in Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge Caravan Centre services every make and model of caravan, camper trailer, pop-top and hybrid from our workshop in Murray Bridge. A caravan service isn’t like a car service: the things that matter are the ones that stop and carry the van. Electric brakes wear unevenly and drift out of adjustment, wheel bearings dry out on long hot runs, and gas and 12V systems develop faults nobody notices until they’re off-grid.

We work to each manufacturer’s schedule and record the service in your book, so warranty is protected. If something needs doing beyond the service, we quote it first. Most jobs are same-day, and we’ll call before you’re due back if anything changes.

For travellers heading east on the Dukes or Mallee highways, we’re the last full caravan workshop out of Adelaide, so book in as you pass through rather than hoping for the best further down the road.

Do you service vans you didn’t sell?

Yes. We service all makes and models, including vans bought privately, interstate or online.

Do I lose my manufacturer warranty servicing with you?

No. Australian Consumer Law lets you service with any qualified workshop as long as the work follows the manufacturer’s schedule, which ours does. We record it in your service book.

How often should a caravan be serviced?

Most manufacturers say every 12 months or 10,000 km. Bearings should be checked after any long gravel or beach work regardless.

Can you do a service and a leak test together?

Yes, and it’s the most common combination before a long trip. Add both when you book and we’ll do them on the same day.
