- Moisture mappingWe meter the walls and floor to find how far the water has travelled, which is almost always further than the stain.
- QuoteA fixed scope where we can see it, and an allowance for what’s behind the cladding, explained up front.
- Strip and rebuildCladding comes off, rotted frame and ply are cut out and replaced, insulation renewed and the structure re-glued and screwed.
- Reline, reseal, recladInterior lining replaced, every join resealed, cladding refitted or replaced, then pressure tested before it leaves.

When to book. Book an assessment as soon as you notice soft spots, staining, a musty smell or bubbling panels. The earlier we get to it, the less wall has to come off.

Caravan water damage repairs in Murray Bridge
Murray Bridge Caravan Centre rebuilds water-damaged caravans in our own workshop. By the time water damage shows inside a van, the frame behind the wall has usually been wet for a season or more, and the repair is structural: rotted timber and ply are cut out and replaced, the wall is reinsulated and relined, every join is resealed and the cladding is refitted.
We handle front and rear wall rebuilds, floor replacement, roof repairs and delamination on aluminium-clad and composite vans. Each job is moisture-mapped first so the quote reflects the real extent, and pressure tested at the end so it leaves dry.
Where a policy covers the cause, we manage the claim with your insurer. Where it doesn’t, we quote in stages so you can decide how far to take it.

DirectionsIs water damage worth repairing?
Usually yes on a van in otherwise good condition. The alternative is selling it with a known fault, which costs more in lost value than the repair. We’ll tell you straight if a van isn’t worth it.
Does insurance cover water damage?
Sometimes. Sudden events like a storm or an accident usually are. Slow leaks from aged sealant usually aren’t. We can help you word the enquiry to your insurer.
Will the repair be visible?
No. Cladding is refitted or replaced across full panels, decals re-applied and interior lining matched. The van is pressure tested before you collect it.
How do I stop it happening again?
An annual leak test. Most water damage starts at one failed sealant bead.
